Dear God,

Thank You for this day. Thank You for Jesus. Thank You for love and for eternal life in You. We’re grateful for the Holy Spirit who makes it possible for us to grow into Your likeness in our lives here on earth.

This week, Holy Spirit, teach us and remind us about Ephesians 6:12 as these powers affect our lives! We wrestle not against flesh and blood but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.

Help us love through any disagreements we may have with each other. Teach us to lean in to You when we want to run away. Jesus showed us that it is possible to love others who are not the same as us or who disagree with our views.

Thank you for the wisdom and knowledge in this verse. Let us be equipped as we grow into your likeness day by day. Give us Your strength in times of wrestling with spiritual darkness. All things are possible through Christ who died for our sins on the cross and who gives us strength; we can do all things through God who made a way for the righteous!
