Letting God Fight Our Battles
Dear God,
Thank you for the Word and all Your promises in it. We have them to lean on while we live in this world of beauty and darkness.
Thank you for the times of celebration. Thank you for the faith we have in You and that the dark times are being worked for our greatest good. Now we celebrate with our Just Pray It family in all our joys; we pray as well for those journeying through tough times.
This month we prayed alongside Romans 8:31, and we know you are FOR us because if you are with us, who could be against us? Hallelujah! In Joshua 1:9 we are reminded, and in fact we are commanded to live STRONG and to live COURAGEOUSLY. You will be with us wherever we go! In Deuteronomy 31:8 You promised (and we are encouraged by the fact) that You are with us wherever we go; You will NEVER leave us nor forsake us! We can be confident and encouraged knowing that You are with us wherever life takes us! Hallelujah LORD! Again, Hallelujah.
We come together this week to end the month of August, praying alongside and in agreement with Exodus 14:14. We take You at Your Word and desire to remain in peace. Just as You were with the Israelites, You are with us.
Moses spoke these words to the Israelites, “The LORD will fight for you, and you shall hold your peace.” In other words, he was telling them to be quiet, and we also need to be quiet. We desire to hold on to peace and to resist complaining by being quiet in our struggles. We knowing You are going before us and with us wherever we go, fighting our battles!
Hallelujah & Amen!
