Our God Goes Before Us!
Dear God,
Thank You for today and for each person reading this prayer. Now we pray for blessings over each of us, our families, our friends, our co-workers, and in turn may we be a blessing to every person we encounter this week. May we be encouraging and confident.
LORD, this morning we pray alongside and in agreement with Deuteronomy 31:8.
Together we thank You for going before us. Thank You for being with us, for not leaving us nor forsaking us. We will not be afraid nor dismayed. These words that Moses spoke to Joshua as he became the new leader of Israel are as true for us today as they were the day they were spoken.
Lord, we believe You when You promise to go before us, to be with us and not to leave us nor forsake us. We desire to live our lives in a manner opposite to fear; we desire to be confident! We desire to be encouraged and not dismayed.
Today, let this verse we are praying and in agreement with settle in our memories. Holy Spirit, pull these words forward in our hearts and minds when we need them day to day.
Lord, thank You for Your steadfast love that never ceases, and for Your mercies that never come to an end. They are new every morning; great is Your faithfulness!
Amen!
